Schaeffler AG has remained on its course of success during the third quarter of 2011. Based on the very encouraging development of its business during the first nine months, the company is confident it will meet its targets for the year. Schaeffler AG expects to increase sales by more than 10 percent and its EBIT margin by more than 13 percent in 2011.
The transformation of Schaeffler GmbH into a stock corporation (Schaeffler AG) announced by the Supervisory Board in September became effective with the entry in the Commercial Register on October 13.
The Supervisory Board of Schaeffler GmbH, chaired by Georg F.W. Schaeffler, has agreed to transform the company into a stock corporation (Aktiengesellschaft, AG). All operating companies of the Schaeffler Group comprise the Schaeffler AG. The stock corporation is expected to be entered into the commercial register in October.
From the first public day on September 17, 2011, the Schaeffler stand will offer visitors the opportunity to participate in the Schaeffler DTM Experience. In addition the Aftermarket division, responsible for the global automotive aftermarket business of Schaeffler Group Automotive, will present live demonstrations of repair procedures in the adjacent pit lane (Hall 5.1, Stand A04).
The new edition of the INA Overrunning Alternator Pulley catalog is now available. About 190 pages long, the new catalog contains a total of 220 different products for more than 850 models from over 50 automobile manufacturers worldwide.
