This company conducts campus interviews in India from Niche global MBA colleges and universities - and employ executives. The executives, who are happy getting a job in the global bank gets an esteemed feeling in the beginning. As they are very new ( Freshers ) most of them has no clue as to what will be happeing once they join the company.
After joining as a sales executive, you will be asked for bringing in customers everyday. There is a morning meeting and there will be harrassment through insult and very unfair comparison with older employees.
You will have to be out in the UAE streets and cafeterias of other companies, trying to getin touch with people - asking them " do you want a loan or a credit card "
You will mostly not be given any leads - you have to hook up with ppl on the roads or streets or any where else and however.
This is the experience waiting for most of the guys and gals who have paid a hefty sum for their MBA program in India and has decided to join the company; thinking that they will have all the benefits of working in a global bank.
Actually, global banks dont have any benefits being global, in the retail banking scenario of uae. Because - see its simple - you take a loan and then you have to pay for it. So how does a global bank and its global presence help you in apying back?? No way they dont. You cant pay your installments from another country. You cant shift your jobs to other countries without closing the loan.
