Advantica now operates under the name Germanischer Lloyd. In 2007, Germanischer Lloyd (GL) and Advantica combined their strengths. On 1 April 2009, we are taking the next step in the process with Advantica changing its name to GL Industrial Services. This change will further enable us to deliver advanced services on a global scale using the skills and expertise of over 5,300 employees based in 77 countries. GL's plans to grow organically and through acquisitions will take the level of service we deliver for our clients into a new dimension.
